NEW ROCHELLE, NY – In conjunction with the 39th annual Iona Athletics Golf Outing at Wykagyl Country Club on June 7, Iona Athletics is thrilled to announce the traditional silent auction has moved online and is open for bids. Between now and June 7, supporters can bid on several great items on the
auction page. Winners do not need to be physically present and will be announced at the conclusion of the outing.
Additionally, a virtual golf outing option is now available for those who are unable to attend the in-person event.
Individuals or foursomes can play any 18-hole course that plays at par-70, 71, or 72 from May 28 through June 7 to take part in the virtual golf outing. At the conclusion of the round of golf, one scorecard per individual/foursome will be submitted for consideration. Virtual participant's green fees are not included in the registration fee.
Registration is $100 per golfer and prizes are below:
- Top Individual Prize: this award goes to the individual with the best score relative to par on their course.
- Farthest Drive Prize: Playing far from New Rochelle, New York? You are in luck. We have a prize for the participant who registers from the address farthest from Iona College.
- Maroon & Gold Prize: Find the most scenic spot on the golf course while wearing your Maroon & Gold. Take a photo and tag @ICGaels on social media using #GaelNationGolfOuting. The most spirited/scenic photo will receive a Maroon & Gold fan pack.
All proceeds from both the auction and virtual golf outing feature will go directly to support Iona's student-athletes.
