NEW ROCHELLE, NY— The Iona University Acrobatics & Tumbling team announced its 2025 schedule on Friday morning. The Gaels second campaign as a program in 2025 features six dual meets and three contests at the Hynes Center.

Jacquie Eshleman went 5-2 in its first season of competition in 2024 and appeared in the individual event finals at the 2024 NCATA Championship in the Inversion Pyramid event. The Gaels will be tested in 2025 with dual meets against four of the top five seeds from the last year's NCATA Championship.
The Maroon & Gold begins the 2025 slate on Tuesday, February 11 with a trip to Long Island to take on LIU. Iona bested the Sharks in its first-ever intercollegiate event a season ago 254.19-233.41 at the Hynes Center.
Next up is the home opener on Saturday, February 15 against Quinnipiac. The Gaels battled the nationally ranked Bobcats in Hamden last season, falling narrowly 270.825-261.480. Quinnipiac entered the 2024 NCATA Championship as the number two seed and reached the semifinals.
Iona then hosts first-year program Duquesne to begin the month of March with a dual meet on Monday, March 3. The Gaels then head down to Texas for a two-game road trip against two perennial programs. First is a meeting with Mary Hardin-Baylor on Wednesday, March 19. The Crusaders finished the 2024 season with a 9-2 record and was the five seed at the NCATA Championships.
A bout against the nine-time defending NCATA national champions Baylor on Saturday, March 22 closes out the road trip. The Bears made the trip to New Rochelle a season ago and took the matchup over Iona, 272.880-253.460.
Iona concludes the regular season on Friday, March 28 at the Hynes Center against Oregon. The Ducks posted a 4-4 record a season ago, squaring off against all nationally ranked opponents. Oregon entered the 2024 NCATA Championships as the four seed and reached the semifinals before falling to Baylor.
The 2025 NCATA schedule will see 48 programs compete nationwide. Augustana University will host the 2025 NCATA National Championship from April 24-27 at the Elmen Center in Sioux Falls.
