NEW ROCHELLE, NY— Iona University softball head coach
Carla Campagna announced that the program will host two winter clinics in 2025. Both camps will be held at Mulcahy Gymnasium.
Iona University camps/clinics are open to any and all entrants limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender.
First up is prospect day on Saturday, January 18 where the coaching staff will offer two sessions. The morning session will involve hitting and the afternoon will cover defense. Space is limited to 25 participants per session. The cost per session is $130 dollars or $210 dollars for both using code DOUBLEPLAY at checkout.
The Gaels will then host a pitching & catching winter clinic on Sunday, January 26. There will be two sessions, the morning is for participants ages 10-14 and the afternoon for ages 15-18. Participation is limited to 15 pitchers and 15 catchers per session and the cost to attend is $115.
Participants at the camps must bring their own softball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, helmet, sneakers, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. Lunch will not be provided, so please bring your own lunch and snacks, as needed. Water will be available throughout the camp.
