NEW ROCHELLE, NY— Five members of the Iona University softball team were names to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® team as announced by the organization on Tuesday.

Senior Brianna Bailey (Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology) along with juniors Brooke Acker (English), Hailey Guerrero (Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology), Alivia Lichtner (Education) and Hannah Werth (Criminal Justice) were the Maroon & Gold representatives on the 2025 Softball CSC Academic All-District team.

The CSC Academic All-District teams recognize student-athletes for their hard work in the classroom and on the field. Each student athlete met the nomination criteria, having a cumulative grade-point average of at least a 3.5 and meeting the playing time requirements regarding starts/and or games played.

A total of 34 student-athletes from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference earned CSC Academic All-District Distinction.
