Twenty-One Iona WLAX Student-Athletes Named to MAAC All-Academic Team

EDISON, NJ – A total of 177 student-athletes were named to the 2024 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse All-Academic Team, announced by the league office today.

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.

Fairfield University led all institutions with 23 selections, followed by Iona University with 21 All-Academic Team honorees. Marist College, Niagara University, and Quinnipiac University each placed 20 student-athletes to the team, while Canisius University (18), Mount St. Mary's University (17), Siena College (17), Manhattan College (16), and Rider University (5) rounded out academic team choices.
