Twelve Iona Student-Athletes Named to IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll

NORTH BOROUGH, MA - The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has recognized 1,176 student-athletes from 123 institutions on the 2024–25 IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll. Iona University is proud to announce that twelve members of its women's lacrosse program have earned this prestigious academic distinction.

To be eligible for the honor roll, student-athletes must be juniors, seniors, or graduate students with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.

Iona's honorees include seniors Alyssa Castellano, a Childhood Education major; Kate Krueger, majoring in Biology; Carly Linthicum, a Finance major; Kira Varada, who is studying Psychology; Lana Ranghelli, a Communications major; and Laine Walterson, who is majoring in both Psychology and Drug and Alcohol Abuse Studies.

The junior class is represented by Victoria Curreri, a Finance and Management major; Sabrina Faulkner, who is studying Nursing; Lindsey Grove, an English major; Maliya Haddock, majoring in Marketing; Lauren Sweeney, who is pursuing a degree in Marketing; and Olivia Tomes, a Psychology.
