NEW ROCHELLE, NY— The National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) announced its 2026 Preseason Coaches' Poll on Friday afternoon. Iona University Acrobatics & Tumbling was selected fourth by the association's head coaches.
Baylor, the ten-consecutive NCATA Champions were picked first with 39 first place votes. 2025 runner-up Oregon was selected second and Quinnipiac was tabbed third in the preseason poll.
The Gaels have continued to climb up the national rankings as the program is set for its third competitive season with a fourth-place selection this year. Iona was selected 15
th in its inaugural campaign in 2024 and then eighth in the 2025 preseason poll.The Maroon & Gold climbed to sixth in the 2025 regular season rankings and earned the program's first team appearance in the 2025 NCATA National Championship. Iona fell to three seed Quinnipiac, 263.545-255.875 in the quarterfinals.
