AZUSA, CA— The NCATA announced its 2026 postseason awards on Sunday afternoon after conclusion of championship competition. The Iona University acrobatics & tumbling team was well represented with three All-Americans, two All-Academic Team honorees and placing 33 student-athletes on the Academic Honor Roll.
Senior
Ty Upton garnered NCATA All-American First Team honors for the third consecutive year and back-to-back seasons for the Gaels. Graduate Student
Cameron King capped her career and lone season at Ioan with All-American First Team honors, earning the honors for the second time in her career. Graduate student
Paige Delman ended her three-year career with the Maroon & Gold with All-American Second Team honors.
Iona was one of two schools with two representatives on the NCATA All-Academic Team, as King and junior
Portia Dryden among the 16 student-athletes named to the team. The Gaels set a program best this year with 33 student-athletes named to the 2026 NCATA Academic Honor Roll.
TY UPTON
Upton garnered NCATA All-American honors for the third consecutive season and twice as a member of the Maroon & Gold. An all-around contributor for the Gaels in three compulsory heats, two acro events, along with the synchronized and open pyramids. She also performed in the synchronized and open toss in addition to the duo pass and six-element pass in the tumbling event.
CAMERON KING
King capped her lone season with the Maroon & Gold with All-American First Team honors. It was the second All-American honors of her career after earning the recognition back in 2023 at Limestone University. King served as a base for the Gaels, competing in the compulsory acro, pyramid and toss. She was also a key contributor in the pyramid and toss events.
The graduate student was also named to the NCATA All-Academic Team with a 4.0 grade point average in her final collegiate season.
PAIGE DELMAN
Delman wrapped up her three-year career with the Gaels with All-American Second Team honors. The Longmont, CO native competed as a midlevel in the compulsory acro and a base in the compulsory toss. She also performed as a mid-level in the inversion and synchronized pyramid heats as the Gaels competed in the NCATA Event Finals in both events. Delman served as a base for the Gaels in the synchronized and open toss.
PORTIA DRYDEN
The junior was one of 16 student-athletes named to the NCATA All-Academic Team at the postseason meet. She has recorded a 3.97 grade point average as a junior nursing major at Iona.
Dryden performed in the compulsory acro, toss and tumbling events along with the synchronized pyramid. She also was a member of Iona's duo tumbling squad and had a stellar season in the open pass. Dryden averaged 9.68 in Iona's seven meets including back-to-back program bests scores of 9.825 against Baylor and Oregon.
