Natalia Arango of the Iona University women's soccer team garnered Rookie of the Week honors.
Arango had a strong opening week to her collegiate career for the Gaels. In her second career game on Sunday, the rookie scored her first collegiate goal in Iona's 2-1 road victory at Le Moyne. Arango's second-half strike proved to be the game-winning goal, helping the Maroon & Gold complete a 2-0 opening week to the 2026 campaign.
