EDISON, NJ— Junior
Marissa Graziano represented the Iona University women's soccer on the All-MAAC Teams as the conference office announced its All-MAAC teams and major awards on Monday morning. Graziano garnered All-MAAC Third Team honors at defense for the Maroon & Gold.
It was the Pearl River, NY native's second straight season with All-MAAC distinction. She earned All-MAAC Second Team at midfield a season ago.
MARISSA GRAZIANO - ALL-MAAC THIRD TEAM
After an All-MAAC sophomore campaign at midfield in 2024, Graziano moved to the center back position on the Iona defense in 2025. She logged a team-high 1396 minutes played in 17 starts while leading the defensive unit to a 2.00 goals against average. Graziano ranked tied for third on the team with five points this season.
She posted her three assists on the year with all three coming against MAAC foes with key passes at Marist (9/6), at Canisius (9/27) and at Saint Peter's (10/1). Graziano registered her lone goal of the season in a big 1-0 road win at Sacred Heart on October 15. The penalty kick strike was the second game winning goal of her career and the fourth penalty kick goal as a member of the Maroon & Gold.
