Peter Dolan joined the Iona University men's lacrosse coaching staff as an assistant coach ahead of the 2026 season. A native of New York's Hudson Valley, Dolan brings over a decade of experience coaching at the collegiate, club, and international levels, with a strong reputation for player development, leadership, and program operations.

Most recently, Dolan served on head coach John Crawley's inaugural staff at High Point University, helping establish the Panthers' foundation at the Division I level. In that role, he oversaw position groups including faceoff specialists, defenders, and transition units, led full-team film sessions, generated detailed scouting reports, and contributed to a nationwide recruiting strategy. He also managed budget and equipment operations while serving as the team's academic liaison, contributing to a team GPA of 3.7 in Fall 2024 and 3.69 in Spring 2025.

Prior to High Point, Dolan spent four seasons at Rutgers University, where he helped guide the Scarlet Knights to unprecedented success, including appearances in the 2022 NCAA Final Four and 2021 NCAA Quarterfinals. Working closely with the goalie unit, faceoff group, and transition schemes, Dolan played a key role in the development of several All-Americans and All-Big Ten honorees. During his tenure, Rutgers amassed a 39–21 record and became a national fixture in postseason play.

Internationally, Dolan has made a lasting impact with Ireland Lacrosse, helping guide the U20 National Team to a gold medal at the 2024 European Championship. He has served in multiple capacities with the Irish national program, including coaching at the 2022 and 2023 World Lacrosse Championships and overseeing coach and player development initiatives. His leadership has contributed to Ireland's highest international finishes to date.

Dolan's coaching career began at his alma mater, Lasell University, where he helped mentor 26 wins over two seasons and developed numerous all-conference performers. He also served on staff at Western New England University during the COVID-shortened 2020-21 campaign, implementing virtual coaching strategies and remote academic support systems.

Outside the college ranks, Dolan has worked with top club programs such as 3d New England, Bluestar, and Leading Edge, and has trained athletes through elite organizations like Faceoff Factory and Q4 Lacrosse. Across his career, Dolan has coached more than 40 all-conference players, 16 All-Americans, and several positional Players of the Year.

Dolan earned both his Bachelor of Arts in Communications and his Master of Business Administration from Lasell University, where he also competed as a student-athlete. His academic background includes concentrations in video and radio production, entertainment media, and business.
