- Second generation Gael, her mom Karin (Brynes) Leary played three seasons for the Gaels from 1991-1993 and led the team with 11.2 points and 8.0 rebounds as a senior
- Her father, Patrick played soccer at Fairfield. Her sisters Amanda (Springfield College) and Caitlin (Mercy University) both play college basketball

- What your hobbies outside of your sports? Spending time outside, hikes, traveling
- Career goals? Become an elementary school teacher
- The person I would most like to meet and why? Adam Sandler because I love all his movies and he has always been someone I enjoy watching. He seems like an amazing guy I would love to meet!
- I chose my jersey number because? My jersey number is 33. I received this number when I was younger playing CYO basketball and have kept it ever since.
