BROOKLYN, NY - The Iona College women's swimming and diving team wrapped up its regular season slate with a road meet at St. Francis (NY). The Gaels outscored the Terriers 160-61 and picked up their fourth straight meet win.
In the 1650 yard freestyle, 
Brigitte Doughty swam an exhibition time of 18:25.75. In the 200 yard medley relay, the Iona A relay took first with a time of 1:55.12 and the Iona B relay took second with a time of 2:00.00.
 
In the 1000 yard freestyle, 
Kara Nowakowski took first with a time of 10:58.11. Doughty took second with a time of 11:05.51 and 
Christine Williams was third with a time of 11:40.82.
 
In the 200 yard butterfly, Cody was first with a time of 2:18.89. Ponzo was second with a time of 2:19.17 and Nowakowski was third with a time of 2:21.01.
In the 100 yard freestyle, Harvey took first with a time of 54.17. Mone was second with a time of 55.02 with Dodenhoff coming in third with a time of 57.57.
Larkin was first in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 5:27.87. Doughty was second in the event with a time of 5:35.31. Williams rounded out the top three with a time of 5:45.60.
In three meter diving, Gongloff was first with 191.40 points. Dilascio was second with 152.25 points.
In the 200 yard breaststroke, Manser finished with a time of 2:31.70. 
Sarah Walker finished with a time of 2:34.39 in the event.
 
The 200 yard freestyle relay team finished the event with a time of 1:45.22.
The Gaels return to the water Feb. 17 for the MAAC Championships in Buffalo, NY.
