The Iona College women's basketball team (6-9, 2-2 MAAC) returns to the friendly confines of the Hynes Athletic Center Friday afternoon when they host the Rider University women's basketball team (10-5, 2-2 MAAC) in conference play.  The Gaels are coming off a 1-1 road trip in Western New York, where they defeated Niagara 71-61 before falling to Canisius 85-74 in overtime.
