NEW ROCHELLE, NY— Four members of the Iona University women's basketball team were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® team as announces by the organization on Tuesday afternoon.

Graduate student Ella Fajardo (Occupational Therapy MS), senior Ale Civera (MBA), junior Claudia Fiel (Business Administration) and sophomore Adrianna Gonzalez (Undeclared) were the Maroon & Gold representatives on 2025-26 women's basketball academic all-district team.

The CSC Academic All-District® teams recognize student athletes for their hard work in the classroom and on the court. Each student athlete met the nomination criteria, having a cumulative grade-point average of at least a 3.5 and meeting the playing time requirements regarding starts/and or games played.

A total of 17 student athletes from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference earned CSC Academic All-District distinction with Iona, Marist and Saint Peter's leading with four honorees each.
