BUFFALO WILD WING STUDENT-ATHLETE OF THE WEEK–Alyssa Maiese, Softball

Iona College softball senior Alyssa Maiese was named Buffalo Wild Wings Student-Athlete of the Week after Maiese hit .400 (6-15) with one home run and eight runs batted in this past weekend, as the Gaels went 3-2 in Baltimore. She also posted an on base percentage of .438 and a slugging percentage of .800. Maiese opened up the weekend with a 1-2 effort and two runs batted in against James Madison. Against Princeton, she went 1-4 with a double and a run batted in and scored once. Against UMBC on Sunday, Maiese went 2-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Against James Madison, she went 2-3 with a home run and a double with four runs batted in and one run scored.
