RESULTS
LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL – The Iona College golf team is in first place after day two of the 2018 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship. Freshman Justin Burkhamer leads the strong Maroon & Gold current being atop the individual leader board.
Iona has a team score of 589 ( 13), 14 strokes better than current runner-up Siena. The Gaels shot 294 ( 6), anchored by Burkhamer's 70 (-2) and junior Paolo Matti's 72 (E). Sophomore Oisin Devereux and rookie Kritsarin Oukosavanna each shot 76 ( 4). Sophomore Matt Mirocco came in at 80 ( 8) for the second straight round.
Burkhamer has a two stroke lead in the player standings on Siena College's Michael Christifulli. Devereux ( 4) is tied for fifth place and Matti ( 5) sits just one stroke behind tied for sixth. Oukosavanna ( 6) remains front of the leaders in a tie for 10th.
