NEW ROCHELLE, NY - Iona College freshman flanker Cameron DiGiorgio was named FloRugby.com's College Freshman of the Week after his performance in the Gaels' season opening 59-15 win over UMass at Mazzella Field.
 
DiGiorgio was one of seven freshmen who started for Iona in the win and led from the front at open-side flanker. The 6-2, 205-lb flanker from Christian Brothers Academy in New Jersey showed strengths on both the offensive and defensive ends of the field.
