GREENSBORO, NC – Inclement weather has forced the host, UNC Greensboro, to reschedule some games at the UNC Greensboro Invitational. The Iona College softball team had games originally moved back a day in preparation of the weather. With the bad weather now in the area, the schedule has once again been revised.
 
Iona will now open its 2019 campaign on Sunday, February 24 at 2:30 p.m. against Longwood. At 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, the Maroon & Gold will play host UNC Greensboro; the two teams had originally planned to face off twice, but will now play just one game. The Sunday nightcap will be live streamed on the SoCon Network.
 
On Monday, Iona will face Northern Kentucky twice; they play at 9:30 a.m. and then once more at noon.
