NEW ROCHELLE, NY - Iona College and head baseball coach Paul Panik have mutually agreed to part ways, it was announced today.  

The Maroon & Gold earned 20 wins in Panik's three seasons in New Rochelle. During the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted 2020 and 2021 campaigns, the Gaels were able to compete in just 30 games combined.

"I'm truly thankful for Coach Panik's efforts during his time at Iona," said Director of Athletics Matthew Glovaski. "The last two years have been extremely challenging, and I wish him the best as he moves on from Iona College."

A national search for a replacement will commence immediately.
