Boston, Mass.—The Iona University men's rowing team capped its fall schedule on Sunday afternoon with a sixth place finish in the Men's Collegiate Fours event at the Head of the Charles Regatta.

The Gaels 4+ boat featured junior Ethan Megal, senior Thomas Koetzner, sophomore Jack Allen and senior Oliver Sanchez and was coxed by freshman Johanna Moran. The boat finished sixth in 17:44.95 in a race that saw 43 entries. It is the quintet's third top-10 finish this fall campaign.

Stetson paced the event with a time of 17:08.02, followed closely behind by San Diego and George Washington. UCLA and Embry-Riddle finished just ahead of Iona to round out the top five.

The Maroon & Gold will return to competition in early spring 2024.
