ALLENTOWN, PA - The Iona University men's and women's rowing teams opened their 2024 spring campaign Saturday following back-to-back weekend cancellations due to weather. The Gaels competed in a quad regatta with host Lehigh, Fairfield, and Loyola Maryland on Lake Nockamixon. The Maroon & Gold's varsity four boat was the top performer with a first place finish.

Grace Mutze raced twice and vastly improved on the second time with a 7:49.9 as the afternoon event found much fairer weather conditions compared to the extreme headwind in the morning session.
