COACH'S COMMENTS
"The first day of racing was hard," said Director of Rowing
Ben MacDougald. "We did not feel as if we were putting out the speed that we saw in practice. As a result we were in a much lower final than we wanted or expected to be."
Â
"Our goal for day two was to put out a performance we knew we were capable and deserving of Iona's name," MacDougald added. "We did just that. Our second day's piece was much better executed. Overall while it wasn't the finish we wanted, we are leaving the course with our heads held high and excited for the fall."
