KENSINGTON, CT - The Iona men's golf program competed in the 2024 Ryan T. Lee Memorial at Shuttle Meadow Country club this past weekend. the Gaels finished in a solo eighth place for the 36-hole event. Shuttle Meadow is a par 71 and senior Park Smith was the Gaels top finisher just finishing outside the top 15. The other Gaels that competed were junior Zach baldwin, Connor Henderson, sophomores Sean Richards, Sahir Balyan,  and newcomer Freddie Tucker.  

Rhode Island won the team event at four-under par, and an Army Student Athlete won the individual title after a four hole play off over a student athlete from Sacred Heart.
