Iona Men's Golf Hosts 2025 Wykagyl Collegiate

NEW ROCHELLE, NY - The Iona University men's golf program made history this week, hosting the inaugural Wykagyl Collegiate at Wykagyl Country Club in New Rochelle, marking the first true home event in program history. The two-day tournament, held October 27–28, 2025, brought together a competitive field of regional programs for 54 holes of play on one of Westchester County's premier courses. Leading the way for Iona was Connor Henderson who turned in an impressive 3-over par performance to finish as the top Gael in the 54-hole tournament.

In a thrilling team race, Rhode Island edged LIU for the championship with a decisive birdie on the 18th hole, while Force Kosalutta of Mount St. Mary's captured the individual title at 6-under par.
