EASTON, PA - Iona men's golf had a strong showing at the 2025 ABART Collegiate Invitational with a sixth place finish out of 16 schools competing. The Gaels played two rounds, 36-hole event, at Northampton Country Club. The Club is a par-72, and is played at 6,675-yards.

For the second tournament in the row a MAAC school has come out on top, Sacred Heart won the 36-hole event at four-over par as a team. The Gaels shot 10-over after round one and 11-over after round two for a total of 21-over and 17 stroke behind the Pioneers. Sahir Baylan was the Gaels top finisher with back to back 73's. Fellow MAAC student athlete from Merrimack won the event in a playoff. 

Iona's will take part in one more event before the MAAC Championship in Florida. The Maroon & Gold will stay in the local area at the Jasper Spring Collegiate hosted by Manhattan at the Summit Club in Armonk, NY.
