KINGSTON, NY - The Iona University men's golf team capped off its spring regular season in strong fashion, finishing in a tie for second place at the Roar-EE Invitational hosted by Columbia University at Wiltwyck Golf Club.

Competing in a 36-hole, one-day event, the Gaels delivered a consistent performance across both rounds to secure their runner-up finish in a competitive field. The result provides positive momentum as Iona heads into the MAAC Championship, scheduled for April 28–30.

Leading the way for the Maroon & Gold was Sean Richards, who turned in an impressive showing to finish in a tie for fourth place individually. Richards fired a 4-under par across the two rounds, pacing the Gaels with steady play and strong scoring throughout the day.
