NEW ROCHELLE, NY - Iona College men's soccer junior Nils Binstock has been named an honorable mention on the Jewish Sports Review's 2008 Men's College All-America Soccer Team (D-1). Binstock, along with four players from Saint Peter's, is one of five athletes representing the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference on the list.
Binstock, a 5'11" goalkeeper from Toronto, Ontario, permitted a 1.25 GAA and had a .705 save percentage while finishing at 10-6-1 with eight shutouts. He was named to the All-MAAC Second Team.
