MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Iona College golf team took second out of four squads at the inaugural Iona College Quad Match held Monday at Spring Brook Country Club. As a team, the Gaels carded a team score of 308 (+28), just two strokes behind the squad from Fairleigh Dickinson.

Juniors Taylor Bellemare and Tom McHugh finished tied for second after carding identical scores of 74 (+4) on the day. Freshman Stefan Cygan tied for eighth after a seven-over 77. Freshman Brian Fitzpatrick finished 17th after a 13-over 83 with senior Jordan Kral just behind him in 18th with a 14-over 84.

Iona is back in action Sept. 23 for the first day of the Hartford Hawks Invitational, held at Bull's Ridge Bridge Country Club in South Kent, CT.
