HAMBURG, NJ - The Iona College golf team sits 10th as a squad after the first round of play at the FDU Knights Invitational held at Crystal Springs Golf Club. The Maroon & Gold shot a team score of 329 on the first day. Binghamton University is first with a team score of 300.

Junior Taylor Bellemare is tied with three others for 15th after carding a seven-over 78 in round one. Junior Tom McHugh and junior Evan DeLuca are among a group of six tied for 35th after each shot a first round of 82 (+11).

Freshman Stefan Cygan is tied for 58th after shooting a 16-over 87 in round one, while freshman Brian Fitzpatrick shot an 18-over 89 on day one and is tied for 66th.

Monday's second round will begin at 8:00 am.
