DEAL, NJ - The Iona College golf team concluded its regular season spring slate Thursday afternoon at the Monmouth Invitational. The Gaels finished tied for fourth among the five teams with Fairfield University, with a score of 321 (+37), eight shots shy of first place Saint Peter's University.

Junior Evan DeLuca was one of four players tied for third, after shooting a five-over 76 on the day. Freshman Stefan Cygan finished tied for 14th with a 10-over 81, while freshman Brian Fitzpatrick and junior Tom McHugh were among three players tied for 17th after each finished with an 11-over 82.

The Maroon & Gold is back in action Apr. 25-27 for the 2014 MAAC Championship, held in Lake Buena Vista, FL.
