LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL - The Iona College golf team posted a team score of 315 on day two of the 2014 MAAC Championships at Disney's Palm Golf Course and moved into fifth place with a two day score of 635 (+59). Saint Peter's leads the team standings with a two day score of 619 (+43).

Junior Evan DeLuca shot a two-over 74 in round two, and currently sits tied for sixth after 36 holes with a score of 154 (+10).  Junior Tom McHugh is in eighth place after a six-over 78, and a two day score of 155 (+11).  Junior Taylor Bellemare cut two shots off his first round score with a seven-over 79, and is currently tied for 21st with a score of 160 (+16).

Freshman Stefan Cygan posted a second round score of 84 (+12), and is currently tied for 33rd with a two day score of 166 (+22). Freshman Brian Fitzpatrick sits 43rd with a two day score of 174 (+30) after carding a 20-over 92 in round two.

The Gaels complete play at the MAAC Championships Sunday beginning at 8:15 am.
