NEW ROCHELLE, NY – Iona College women's basketball sophomore guard
Adrienne DiGioia is a new member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, Sigma Alpha Pi. The group is the largest collegiate leadership honor society in the United States with nearly 600 chapters and over three-quarters of a million members nationwide.
Society membership only comes by invitation or nomination from a campus's faculty. It places DiGioia among the top student leaders at Iona, an honor by which she has earned via academic accomplishment and leadership potential.
Only six percent of the Iona College student body is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, Sigma Alpha Pi.
Through her diligent work ethic and dedication to success in the classroom, DiGioia has granted herself to the Society's benefits which includes but is not limited to scholarships & awards, graduation honors, leadership certification and additional education opportunity from influential figures.
Iona begins the regular season at Hofstra on Tuesday, Nov. 6. Tip-off from Hempstead, NY is set for 7:00 PM.
