In the meantime, we are excited to announce a Virtual Sellout initiative with the ability to purchase cutouts to be displayed at this year's MAAC home games. Your participation will help our continued efforts to keep the Gaels safe during the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, operational support for teams, nutritional needs for student-athletes, and more!
Fans have the option to purchase a cutout for $50, as well as additional options to sponsor an entire section.

How to Submit a Fan Cutout Photo
- Visit IonaConnection.com to complete your transaction.
- After your purchase, you will receive an email confirmation with how to submit your photo.
- Forward your email confirmation to tickets@iona.edu with your photo.
Please have your photo handy when you click on link and please be sure to use our guidelines and tips below to maximize your fan cutout.
Fan Cutout Photo Guidelines and Tips
Apparel:
- Wear Iona gear! Maroon & Gold are highly encouraged, but make sure you have a different color background than your shirt color otherwise they will blend together.
- No other NCAA team, professional team, or other team logos, marks or brands are allowed and will not be approved.
- Only one person (or pet) per photo, no group photos.
- If you wear a hat, make sure it's not too low or it will create a shadow on your face.
- If you wear glasses, tilt your head and avoid using a flash to avoid a glare.
Background:
- Choose a solid color background
File size:
- The photo should be at least 2580 x 4782 pixels
Fan Cutout FAQ
1. Can I choose my seat location for my cutout?
Fan cutouts will be placed randomly. Special requests to be placed next to someone can be made but cannot be guaranteed.
2. Is my cutout for both men's and women's basketball?
Yes, fan cutouts will be placed in the Hynes Athletics Center for both men's and women's basketball home games and will not be moved.
3. Will my cutout be on TV?
Seeing your cutout on any TV broadcast is not guaranteed, but we will place cutouts in high exposure areas based on volume and availability.
4. Can I get my cutout at the end of the season?
Yes, more information on delivery options will be communicated at a later date.
5. Will you contact me after I submit my photo?
We will only contact you if your photo is not approved.
6. Can I change my mind on my photo if I already submitted it?
No, the first approved photo submitted is final.
7. Can I request a refund for my cutout?
No, all fan cutouts are final including a delayed or canceled season, change in venue or damages to cutouts or lost cutouts.
8. What are the dimensions of the fan cutout?
Approximately 32" (H) x 17" (W).
9. What if the season gets delayed, canceled, or played elsewhere?
All fan cutouts are final, and no refunds will be issued.

11. WHAT IF FANS ARE ALLOWED AT THE HYNES ATHLETICS CENTER AT SOME POINT DURING THE SEASON, WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO MY CUTOUT?
As we still remain hopeful some fans will be allowed at some point during the season, the MAAC announced there will be no fans through Dec. 23. After this date, the MAAC Basketball Working Group will review the policy. If fans are allowed at any point during the season, cutouts will still remain in the gym.
Fan Cutout Terms and Conditions:
- Iona Athletics reserves the right to reject any photo for any reason. If your photo is rejected, Iona Athletics will contact you for a new photo.
- No political statements, logos, slogans or other political content.
- No inappropriate or offensive photos including signs, symbols or otherwise.
- No commercial identification or advertising, including corporate or company logos, marks, names, and brands or any other commercial identifying affiliation of any kind, including on the apparel in the photo and in the background.
- No apparel, logos, marks, names or brands of any other NCAA, professional or other sports teams will be approved.
- No text including hashtags, social media handles or phone numbers.
- No names, images or likenesses of NCAA players.
- Only one person per photo.
