BETHLEHEM, PA - The Iona University women's cross country team competed at the 2022 Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University at Goodman Campus XC Course. Sophomore
Madison Klein posted the Maroon & Gold's top time for the second straight event. The Gaels were 13th overall among the 46 teams competing in the 6k Brown Race.
IONA PERFORMERS
Klein finished was 10th overall crossing the line in 21:14.2. Junior
Gabrielle Toth also earned a top 20 finish among the near 400-runner race field, finishing 19th in 21:42.1. Junior
Maya Richardson (110th, 22:48.6) and freshmen
McKenna Arguien (131th, 22:58.8) and
Kate Sherman (257th, 23:55.4) were the Gaels' final three scorers.
TOP RACE PERFORMERS
D-III No. 5 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, George Washington, D-III No. 27 Lynchburg, LIU and D-II RV Charleston (W.V.) were the top five team finishers. Emory's Annika Urban was first individually in 20:22.9.

Iona is back in action in two-weeks at the ECAC Championship at Van Cortlandt Park on Friday, October 14.
