NEW ROCHELLE, NY - Head coach Lauren Kahn has officially announced the 2023 schedule for the Iona College Lacrosse program. Before the Gaels open the season Iona will be hosting Wagner on February 4 for a preseason scrimmage. Iona first game of the regular season of the 2023 season is at home in New Rochelle on February 11 vs Lasalle.

The Gaels continue the season with another two home games. First on February 15 against the Sharks of LIU and then three days later on February 18th the Maroon & Gold host Boston University. Their final home game of the first month is scheduled for February 22 against FDU.    

Iona opens March play with a home game on the 1st against Sacred Heart. Iona will travel a couple days later on March 4 to Merrimack in North Andover, MA. After a trip to New England the Gaels return home on March 8 for a battle against the Leopards of Lafayette. Iona's final non-conference match-up will be 667 miles away at Coastal Carolina in Conway, SC on March 12. 

After nearly two weeks without a game Iona opens up with three straight home games in MAAC play. First the Saints of Siena will visit the Westchester area on March 25, Fairfield will cross the CT/NY border on the 29th of March. The final game of the homestand will be on the first of April against the Golden Griffs of Canisius.     

Iona's first MAAC road game of the 2023 season is on April 5 at the new MAAC member school Mount St. Mary's. They will continue on the road making the long trek to Western New York for a match-up against the Purple Eagles of Niagara on April 8.  

The Maroon & Gold return home on April 12 against the cross town rivals Manhattan for their final home game of the 2023 regular season. The Gaels will then go back on the road for the final two games of the season with a game at Quinnipiac on April 19 and they will end in Poughkeepsie NY, on April 22 against Marist.

The 2023 MAAC Women's Lacrosse Championship is a six-team, single-elimination tournament taking place April 30 - May 7, 2022. The Opening Round will be hosted by the third and fourth seeds. The semifinal and final will be hosted by the highest seed.
