PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Iona University men's outdoor track and field team competed at the 2023 Rutgers Relays at Bauer Track and Field Complex Saturday afternoon.
MEN'S 3,000-METER STEEPLECHASE
Sophomore
Matt Penna was the Gaels' top finisher, earning fourth in the 3,000-meter steeple chase, posting a time of 10:00.00.
MEN'S 1,500-METER RUN
Juniors
Donnovan Tucker and
Nick Hunziker earned top 10 finishes in the 1,500-meter event, finishing back-to-back in ninth (4:07.76) and 10th (4:09.33) place, respectively. Sophomore
Daniel Shephard was 17th (4:17.89).
MEN'S 400-METER DASH
Juniors
John Conroy (14th, 51.30) and Josh DeCoteau (26th, 57.22) competed in the 400-meter dash.
MEN'S SHOT PUT THROW
Freshman
John Khader's top throw of 10.73m was good for 15th place.
MEN'S 800-METER RUN
Sophomore
Nick Sinofsky posted a 2:01.81 in the 800-meter run.
