COLUMBIA, SC - Iona University men's outdoor track junior
Jadyn Tabois was the Gaels' lone representative at the 2023 USC Open. Tabois ran a personal best time and lowered his own school record in the 200-meter dash as he seeks a qualifying time for the NCAA Championship.
MEN'S 200-METER DASH
Tabois blazed a 20.55 in the event, good for second place behind Clemson sophomore Wanya McCoy. The time was .32 seconds faster than his previous best set two weeks ago at Duke. It ranks No. 20 on the NCAA East qualifying list and is more than 3/4 of a second faster than the No. 2 time amon his MAAC competitors this season. Tabois set the school record last season and at Duke became the first Iona runner to run a sub-21-second 200-meter time.
