Sophie Murphy took home silver medals to lead the Gaels in Sunday's finale.
800-METER RUN
G. Sparrow
Sparrow earned silver in the 800-meter run, posting a personal best time of 2:11.24. The mark ranks sixth fastest in school history and second fastest by an Iona performer at the MAAC Championship. Sparrow finished two seconds behind the race winner from Rider.
100-METER DASH
K. Lewis
Lewis earned her second medal of the championship, posting silver in the 100-meter dash. Her time of 12.22 was .44 behind the race winner from Mount St. Mary's. She improved on a fourth place finish from her freshman campaign in 2022.
5000-METER RUN
S. Murphy
Murphy earned the Gaels' third silver medal on Sunday, finishing second in the 5,000-meter run. Her time of 17:15.20 was an ECAC qualifying time in just her second appearance of the spring campaign. Sophomore
Cara Du Preez earned sixth place points in 17:49.93.
1,500-METER RUN

Susie O'Flynn (5th, 4:43.70) and junior
Gabrielle Toth (7th, 4:46.94) were point scorers for Iona in the 1,500-meter event. Junior
