HARTFORD, CT - The Iona University women's rowing team opened its 2024-25 campaign at the Head of the Riverfront Regatta on the Connecticut River in Riverside Park. The Gaels raced three boats in the event, a varsity eight and two varsity fours. The Maroon & Gold's top crew in the four event finished eighth overall.

Kaeli Dean, and
Grace Mutze to an eighth place finish in the open four race, posting a time of 17:48.18.
Iona's second boat featured freshman coxswain
Alina Hosein and sophomore
Tehya Mann, junior
Clare Robertsen and seniors
Anna Meehan and
Emma Ibbetson. The boat finished with the 17
th fastest time in 18:54.04.
