NEW ROCHELLE, NY – The Iona University women's rowing team fielded three boats at the 2024 Novak Memorial Metropolitan Championships in the program's spring home event. The regatta featured nine schools from the Metropolitan Area and New England. The Gaels' varsity four boat was the top performer and finished third in their heat.
WOMEN'S VARSITY 4
Iona finished third in the heat stage of the women's varsity four race, posting a time of 10:12.94. The Gaels finished behind Fordham and Stony Brook and ahead of Fairfield's second boat, Manhattan, and Army. Junior

The Gaels V8 boat was fifth in the five-team race field, posting a time of 8:26.21. Fordham took top honors in the event. The Gaels' lineup consisted of junior coxswain
