POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - Sophomore McKenna Arguien led a quartet of Iona University women's cross country harriers at the Marist Season Opener at Vassar Farms in the Gaels opening meet of the 2024 campaign.

THE RUNDOWN

Arguien finished 13th overall in the 5k race, posting a time of 19:05.5. Junior Cosmina Spiridon was Iona's No. 2 performer, finishing 20th overall in 19:20.3. Sophomore Alexa Doe (19:23.4) followed just behind her teammate in 21st. Senior Clodagh McGroary made her Iona debut with her time of 21:02.2.
