BRONX, NY - Four members of the Iona University women's cross country team competed at the Gaels' Br. John "Paddy" Doyle Meet of Champions hosted this morning at Van Cortlandt Park. Sophomore 
Claragh Keane finished ninth individually to lead the Maroon & Gold.
THE RUNDOWN
Keane crossed the 5k event in 18:52.0 to top Iona's quartet. Junior 
Kate Tugman (19:48.9), sophomore 
Alexa Doe (19:58.3) and junior 
Cosmina Spiridon (20:12.7) all crossed in the 30's, finishing 32nd, 35th and 38th respectively.

Kiera Atkinson also competed in the event and finished seventh overall with a time of 18:45.7.
TEAM SCORES
With just four competitors in the race, Iona did not complete a team score. Charlotte won the event with a team score of 26, followed by Army (41), Binghamton (86), Albany (110) and St. John's (154) to round out the top five. Army sophomore Louisa Diamond (18:10.8) topped Charlotte junior Cali Coffin (18:18.5) for the individual crown.
