EDISON, NJ—The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced its 2025 Men's Soccer All-Academic Team on Monday morning. The Iona University men's soccer team was represented with 11 honorees on the team.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. A total of 145 student-athletes were named to the 2025 MAAC Men's Soccer All-Academic Team.
Quinnipiac led all MAAC institutions with 17 student-athletes. Manhattan (16), Merrimack (14) and Siena (12) rounded out the top four. Iona tied with Fairfield and Niagara with 11 honorees each. To close out the 2025 All-Academic Team was Canisius (10), Sacred Heart (10), Saint Peter's (10), Mount St. Mary's (9), Marist (8) and Rider (6).

Fernando Alves Schmelz.
