NEW YORK, NY - The Iona University women's indoor track & field team competed at the 2025 Fastrack National Invitational at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, NY. 
Claragh Keane highlighted an incredible performance from the Maroon & Gold in the 3000-meter event, with 4 Gaels finishing within the top ten. Keane's time was the fourth fastest three kilometers by a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference competitor this season and was good enough for second place in the event.
WOMEN'S 3,000-METER RUN
Claragh Keane posted a personal best time of 9:46.50 and finished as the runner-up in the 3000-meter event. The Sophomore's time counted as the fourth best time posted by a MAAC runner this season. Three other Gaels filled out the top ten; 
Madison Klein (4th, 9:49.23), 
Muireann Duffy (5th, 9:58.65), and 
Lucy Miller, who set a personal best time of 10:03.37 and finished eighth. 
McKenna Arguien (19th, 10:19.00) and 
Alexa Doe (50th, 11:06.06) also competed and set respective personal bests. 
WOMEN'S Mile RUN
Katie Menard was the sole Gael representative in the mile, posting a personal best time of 5:13.23 and finishing 14th.
WOMEN'S 800-METER run
Maddy Luscombe was the first Gael across the line in 21st with a personal best of 2:21.69. 
Katie Menard (24th, 2:22.81) was next to cross the finish before 
Lauren Sonski (27th, 2:23.08) and Payton Foster (37th, 2:25.12) each collected personal bests.
WOMEN'S 400-METER DASH
Nadine Jefremow led the way for the Gaels, finishing 17th with a personal best time of 59.07. 
Zaheira Hegazi joined in on counting a new personal best with a time of 59.95, crossing the line in 24th. Rihanna Burgher (67th, 1:03.38) also competed in the event
WOMEN'S 60-METER DASH
Kedarjah Lewis (26th, 8.02) and 
Ava McAuliffe (29th, 8.12) both competed in the 60-meter dash prelims, with the latter taking home a personal best finish. 
Nadine Jefremow also competed in the 60-meter dash, finishing with a time of 8.28.
WOMEN'S LONG JUMP
Kedarjah Lewis competed in her second event of the evening in the long jump, finishing with a mark of 5.51m
WOMEN'S SHOT PUT
Tyaja Thomas served as the lone Gael representative in the shot put, achieving a mark of 10.68m
