NEW ROCHELLE, NY - The Iona University Men's Outdoor Track & Field Team was selected second overall in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll Wednesday morning. As voted on by each of the MAAC head coaches, the Gaels' 83 points landed them second behind Rider who was selected for the top spot with 99 points and nine first place votes.Â
Fresh off their indoor season in which they earned a second place finish in the MAAC Championships, the Maroon & Gold return to action on March 27 as they take on the Raleigh Relays hosted by North Carolina State in Raleigh, North Carolina.Â
