BOSTON, MA - The Iona University men's indoor track team completed their efforts at the IC4A Championships in Boston on Saturday afternoon. The Maroon & Gold continued their prowess in distance events with a one-two finish in the 3000-meter event by
Peter Fogarty and Crock Crockett. As a unit the Gaels brought in 23 points, good enough for 13th place out of 27 teams.
MEN'S 3000-meter run final
Peter Fogarty earned first place in the 3000-meter event along with a personal best time of 8:15.05. Crock Crockett followed in second place with his own personal best time of 8:17.95. The two's efforts marked the second year in a row in which Iona has placed two Gaels on the podium.
MEN'S triple jump
Jiles Addison finished fourth with a personal best distance of 14.20m. His mark placed him among the top five distances in the MAAC this season.
Men's 200-Meter dash final
After a personal best time placed
Cameron Washington in the final yesterday, he competed in and finished ninth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.97.
