PHILIDELPHIA, PA - The Iona University women's outdoor track team was represented by three athletes who competed at the Penn Relays in Philidelphia, Pennsylvania.
Tayla Gunton charged the Gaels' efforts in the 5000-meter event., setting a personal best time while taking the top time in the MAAC this season
WoMEN'S 5000-meter run
Tayla Gunton led the way for the Maroon & Gold, taking home a personal best time in the 5000-meter event and finishing 20th with a time of 16:36.04. The mark for Gunton is currently the fastest outdoor 5k achieved by any MAAC athlete this season.
Madison Klein (56th, 17:20.09) and
Lucy Miller (60th, 18:13.57) also represented the Gaels in the five-kilometer run.
