2026 MAAC Basketball Championship Central

The 2026 Air Force Reserve Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Basketball Championship returns to the historic Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The tournament begins on Thursday, March 5, and runs through Tuesday, March 10.

TICKETS FOR SEASON TICKET HOLDERS, ALUMNI AND IONA FANS

  • Tickets are available for purchase through the IonaTickets.com for $53.25 per session for men's games and $38.25 per session for women's games.
  • The Iona fan ticket sections at Boardwalk Hall will be located in lower levels directly behind or across from our bench for all games.
  • All tickets purchased through IonaTickets.com can be picked up at the will call table in the Boardwalk Hall lobby.
 

TICKETS and transportation F0R students and employees

  • Complimentary tickets are available for students and employees.
  • Login to IonaTickets.com to claim your ticket.
  • Make sure you are logged in to your student/employee acount with your iona.edu or gaels.iona.edu address.
  • All tickets claimed through IonaTickets.com can be picked up at the will call table in the Boardwalk Hall lobby.
  • Any issues accessing complimentary access contact tickets@iona.edu.
  • For those that are interested in transportation to and from Atlantic City, Iona will be providing round-trip bus transportation starting with the men's quarterfinal on Friday SHOULD THEY WIN THURSDAY NIGHT'S OPENING ROUND.
  • All noted departure times are listed below for each round!
  • PLEASE USE THIS FORM TO REGISTER for bus transportation to and from Atlantic City!

FRIDAY, March 6 (men's quarterfinal, if win)

  • 2:00 p.m departure for 6 p.m. men's game (Reserve Your Spot!)
    • Bus will be returning immediately after the game!

saturday, March 7 (women's quarterfinal)

  • 9:00 a.m departure for Noon women's game vs. Siena (Reserve Your Spot!)
    • PLEASE NOTE: Bus will not be returning until 6 p.m. to give students extra time to enjoy the boardwalk/see the second women's quarterfinal game!
PLEASE MEET IN THE UNIVERSITY COMMONS ON THE GROUND FLOOR OF THE LAPENTA STUDENT UNION NO LATER THAN 15 MINUTES BEFORE THE SCHEDULED DEPARTURE TIME EACH DAY!
