EDISON, NJ - The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has named Iona University men's golf standout Connor Henderson the MAAC Golfer of the Week, following his impressive performance at the Abarta Coca-Cola Collegiate Invitational.

Henderson delivered a standout showing for the Gaels, finishing tied for second overall with a two-round score of 3-under par. He opened the tournament with a strong 2-under 70 in round one and followed it up with a steady even-par 71 in round two to secure his top-two finish.

Across the 36-hole event, Henderson carded eight birdies, consistently positioning himself among the tournament's leaders and pacing Iona throughout the competition.

Behind Henderson's performance, the Gaels put together a solid team showing, finishing tied for fourth place with a combined score of +13.

Henderson's recognition marks a continued stretch of strong play for Iona as the team builds momentum heading into the MAAC Championships.
